Kaleidescape offer a ‘separates’ system and an entry level mini player. The ‘separates ‘ system consists of a server, a movie player, and a music player. With this set-up you can have the potential of storing up to 450 DVD’s or 4,900 CD’s if you increase the disk cartridges or server capacity. One of the best features of this system is the ability it offers you to watch movies in one room whilst accessing the music in another. If you then want to add more rooms from which you would like to watch movies in at the same time (either the same or different movies) then you can upgrade with additional players.

The Mini system also offers DVD and CD storage with a player in one unit. Not only does this allow you to watch movies but also to listen to music in a separate area. The disk storage is less than a separates system but this smaller unit is just the thing for the weekend pad in Monte Carlo.

Browsing your collection on a Kaleidescape System is fantastically simple and rewarding. With the press of a button, your movies or music are sorted by title, actor, artist, director, genre, year-of-release or run time. Kaleidescape’s Movie Guide and Music Guide automatically organize and cross-reference your entertainment collection to help you rediscover your favourites and share them with family and friends. You are able to block viewing of specified movies in specified zones. High-resolution cover art provides an endless panorama to help you quickly identify the movie or music that is “just right” for the occasion.
